Mobiles in the classroom

In the past , education was a very important matter all over the world. But these days every student uses mobile phones in the classrooms which is distracting the student from concentrating with the teacher. I feel using mobile phones is harmful in a number of ways; I think it is also beneficial in other ways. Now I will outline compelling reasons why phones should be banned in class.

Mobile phones have gone a long way from the days they were used only to make and receive calls .They now have cameras, recorders, speakers, and even internet and their applications can prove to be quite useful in class but only as long as the students are mature enough to use their phones professionally in class for their academic purposes.

The problem with the use of mobile phones in class is that the students can be easily distracted by social chat sites and SMS and the inappropriate use of some websites. The noise of sending and receiving calls and messages will distract not only the individual student but the whole class. Finally, of course, ADMC has notices in all classrooms strictly prohibiting the use of mobile phones, as well as the consumption of food and drink.

All in all,there are so many disadvantages of using phones in classes that most schools prefer to ban the use of mobile phones in their classes but if the mobile phones are used maturely in class then the advantages of mobile phones would be more then the disadvantages just as long as the students are disciplined and have self control.
